Happy Feet!

A common question is when and if you need to replace your running shoes.  We all get used to our everyday running shoes and once we find the pair that "works" we are hesitant to replace them either with the same model or a different brand.  However, running in shoes that are "relatively"old (old in terms of mileage, not time) can cause injuries that are otherwise easily avoided.  Rule of thumb: replace your shoes every 300 to 400 miles.  This may take a very long time or a very short time depending on how long you run and how often.  Some people can feel when their shoes are not supporting their feet like they used to but some cannot.  For those who have a hard time gauging the life of your shoes, keep a running log to track the miles and also to note how your joints, muscles, etc. feel as you run and/or after you run.

Keep your feet, knees, hips, and muscles happy with the best shoe support... especially in colder weather!  Happy running and happy shopping!
