Harlow Platts Park / Viele Lake Training Review

Todays training at Harlow Platts Park / Viele Lake was one of the colder workouts that Boulder Sports Performance's has had,...well...cold...since starting last fall  :-). After a short lap around Viele Lake and static stretch, BSP members worked on isometric holds and high repetitions for the upper body. Within a short time of the start of training, it showed that much more upper body work needs to be incorporated in future training sessions. Not only did BSP members work on concentric exercises (contracting the muscles) but focused a lot on eccentric (or "negatives") that proved very difficult. After the 60 minutes of today's session, Boulder Sports Performance should definitely feel the fatigued, tightness, and maybe even some soreness in the back, shoulders, chest, & triceps. Awesome job to those that attended. I know that we're all looking forward to the summer. Stay strong, be patient, and focus on consistency!!!
