Todays Boulder Sports Performance training was one of the BEST sessions thus far. In fact, it has inspired me to go back and "actually" to conquer this treacherous climb. There were 7 strong Boulder Sports Performance members who endured todays training. Not only is the climb a hard & difficult one, but the wet, slippery ground (from the recent snow storm) added to the joy of the journey.
Tony kept reminding BSP Members that we are only "...as strong as our weakest link...". I felt bad that was ME and could not believe it. However, the trek took Team Boulder Sports Performance under 32 minutes!!! My personal goal is to better that time next time training is there. All BSP members hit the summit marker at the top as the snow began to gently fall. It was definitely an amazing view. It is just over 1-mile STRAIGHT up, but should count as 3-miles due to difficulty in the climb (over 1,200 ft. elevation gain in that mile). It has been a while since I have been able to do Boulder Sports Performance's endurance training and it shows. There are more consistent BSP members there that are week-after-week taking the classes and I can see how much stronger they have gotten. I am so proud of them... especially MONA!!!
If you missed this particular training, it is a MUST and now one of my favorites next to Red Rocks.
Thank You very much Tony for kicking our butts on your BIRTHDAY!!! ~Tasha L. Riggs

Go Mona, go. And Tasha, good for you. I'm intimidated by Sanitas, esp. in winter. But, I should get out with you. --kate
