Scott Carpenter Park / Folsom Hill Technique Training
Today's Boulder Sports Performance training focused solely on technique, form and dealing with fatigue. Boulder Sports Performance had 5 strong this afternoon and after a short warm-up, BSP immediately started to work on execution of proper form to build strength; and more importantly for this session, mental toughness. As we made our way to the Folsom Hill there were sets of lunges followed by short jogs UP the Boulder Creek Path. Once Boulder Sports Performance made it to the Folsom Hill, it was repetitive drills on hitting smaller muscle groups and isometric holds to raise BSP's lactic acid threshold. This session BSP Members were told that this is a vital key to overall fitness training as it develops concentration throughout the session to avoid injury & other aliments when someone's loses focus because of fatigue, tiredness or just plain "absent-mindness". Excellent job by those BSP Members that participated today!!
