We all know that spring in Boulder can mean any kind of weather at all. Yesterday it was sunny and warm, near 60 degrees, I think. Well, this morning it was about 30 degress with a light wind and plenty of humidity in the air.
I've never had great times on the races run on the roads starting at the Boulder reservoir. When I train on those roads I tend to have very slow times, so if I do well I think it's a good sign. Last year's Bolder Boulder was 1:04 for me and my goal is to do this year's in under an hour. 59.59 will be fine. I saw today as a test of where my running fitness is. I finished in 1:02, which I'm pleased with. My watch records my mile splits and 4 of the 6 miles were in the 9:40 range. That's very good for me. Even better was I felt quite comfortable running, not in distress as I was during the half marathon on the same course last fall.
I'm sorry I didn't see Dan or Tony come in, but heard they had great runs. --kate readio

I did see Dan and Tony but they were going too fast for me... BUT I finished the Half in 1:59:13, which for me was very good given how cold it was and the long list of excuses I usually have.. Ciao Cesare
