Boulder Sports Performance Members & Friends:
Its time to start thinking of those racing plans for this coming Fall 2010. Whether its running, cycling, a triathlon, or any other type of endurance event, PICK YOUR RACE! It is always a good idea to pick a "goal" race to know what type of event you are training for. The next step is to register for that particular race. The reason being is; if you pay for that race it will hold you accountable for training and showing up. During these tough economic times, it would be a waste to register and then not even show up. The last thing is to find others that are training for races as well (like Boulder Sports Performance). This also places accountability on you as you're more likely not to want to leave your training buddy or group by themselves. There is also the "guilt" factor. Example: It is Saturday morning and you are sleeping in while everyone that has a race coming up is training. You'll thank yourself for making the effort in the training which will make the race more enjoyable.
Two things to be on the lookout for: 1. July's Happy Hour AND, 2. updates on the Boulder Sports Performancewebsite.
The following is Boulder Sports Performance training for this coming week. All Boulder Sports Performance Members are requested to RSVP through Meetup.com as it makes it easier to have an accurate count of who's coming:
~Thursday, Mt. Sanitas Training at 6:30PM.
~Saturday, Boulder High School Training (approx. 75 minutes) at 10:00AM.
**For those persons wanting to pay online, PayPal accepts payment on Meetup.com as well. (Look for the fee on the left side of the Meetup screen)
