Chautuaqua Park / Blue Bell Training Review

Well...it sounded like a good plan on Meetup.com to have training on the Blue Bell Hill: "we will work on sustained, high heart rate for the distance up Blue Bell" AND "this is an awesome opportunity to challenge the heart & lungs and get a killer sweat going." However, I decided to pull a fast one on everyone and do a complete 180 for the Boulder Sports Performance group. After a warm-up, BSP did a brief 5 minute jog to the trailhead of Flagstaff Mountain. From there it was a lot of under-the-breath curse words (I think directed at me), mud laced clothing, and rock & log carrying. Don't want to expand TOO much as next Saturday Boulder Sports Performance will be simulating a workout similar to today. Those two BSP members that had their heart-rate monitors, which included their caloric count, were 800+ before all was said and done. Great job today!!!
