Well its looks like Boulder avoided the last snow storm this past weekend which allowed for a KILLER workout on Mt. Sanitas. All Boulder Sports Performance members that showed up gave an extremely intense effort and maintained a steady HIGH heartrate for the entire session. Some real quick announcements to start off the month of April:
First, this coming Thursday, April 1st www.bolderboulder.com will post the Bolder Boulder volunteer opportunities that BSP could participate in for a FREE race entry. Although it has been indicated that Team BSP will NOT be able to register as a group, we could all register for the same volunteer opportunity so we are able to work together. I was thinking about packing lunches the day before the race (Sunday, May 30th). I may send out another email, but if not, PLEASE remember to sign up April 1st as these opportunities may fill quickly.
Secondly, our Boulder Sports Performance Happy Hour Coordinators are working on April's Happy Hour. I've overheard something to the effect of an "Earth Day" Themed Happy Hour....so stay tuned!!
Lastly, training this week is the following:
~Wednesday, March 31st at Scott Carpenter Park / Folsom Hill Technique Training at 11:30 AM;
~Saturday, April 3rd at Boulder High School Speed & Strength Trainng at 10:00 AM;
Please RSVP through Meetup.com so that Boulder Sports Performance can have an accurate count of attendees. One of Boulder Sports Performance's sponsor, Max Muscle Boulder, may be out on Saturday before the training to provide some pre-workout hydration.
