A little note about running in the bright sunshine since we live in a place with 300 days of sunshine a year! Even if it is a bit cold outside still, you should consider wearing sunglasses and sunscreen while running outdoors this spring. Sunglasses will help you run more relaxed by eliminating some strain on your eyes. Also, sunglasses can help prevent a headache that can come about from squinting for an hour or more! You should also be wearing sunscreen, at least on your face, if you are running when the sun is out! Getting a sunburn drains you of energy as you run, not to mention, it is highly uncomfortable. Wear a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher that is designed to be worn during workouts, so it won't run into your eyes when you start to sweat.
Gotta love the sun!
