Boulder Sports Performance's Weekly Updates

A NEW YEAR is here...2011!! This is a time where we all set those "resolutions" for a better year from the last. As Boulder Sports Performance heads to the New Year, this is a great time to get back out there and join fellow BSP Members. Any conditions that Mother Nature throws our way, Boulder Sports Performance WILL be outside (or as in the case of today, under the protection of a parking garage).

As a recap:

Boulder Sports Performance offers a high-level of training for ANY type of endurance athlete OR those seeking to just get in a killer workout to develop themselves into a well-rounded athlete. Of the many benefits of group training,Boulder Sports Performance specifically provides these five components:

1) Always train with participants who are in better shape - This may feel uncomfortable on some level, however, you WILL see results. One reason many people fail to take things to higher level in fitness is do to the fact that their stuck in the same routine or have become accustom to the exercise regime they do day-in and day-out.

2) Train with the experts - Boulder Sports Performance prides itself on having the top-tier crew to help you. As theBSP staff represents Boulder Sports Performance through continuing education, maintaining a high-level output at races and practices what they teach, this will in-turn create good habits that will ooze into you making you better.

3) Accountability/Camaraderie - The retention rates of Boulder Sports Performance Members is far greater due to the friendship and camaraderie they build up with fellow BSP members. This is through its group training, monthly Happy Hours and other BSP events...such as races.

4) Be smart - Obviously everyone needs to be smart about training with others too. Be smart when incorporatingBoulder Sports Performance's training sessions. Using a heart rate monitor and/or Garmin at a Boulder Sports Performance training session to gauge intensity so you know what level you should be training at.

5) Earn respect - Showing up to a Boulder Sports Performance training session consistently and putting a 100%. Earn other BSP Members respect by shutting up and just doing it AND being a role model. Your actions will speak louder than your words every time!

The following is the Boulder Sports Performance training schedule for this coming week. PLEASE make note of the following days, times and locations! All Boulder Sports Performance Members are requested to RSVP through Meetup.com as it makes it easier to have an accurate count of who's coming:

~Wednesday, Chautauqua Park Training at 5:45PM (first 15 min. spent on a thorough warm-up),
~Saturday, Boulder High School Training at 10:00AM -- 60-75 minutes.

Have a wonderful week AND HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Boulder Sports Performance Team.
