Boulder Sports Performance's Weekly Updates

As March is closely upon us, let's keep on those 2011 fitness goals (to include Boulder Sports Performance's kick-off to BolderBOULDER training), continue to work & push our bodies AND inch ourselves everyday to those targets. Also, Daylights Saving Time is just around the corner, which means MORE time to be out with Boulder Sports Performance Group Training. Stay tuned for details to include BSP's weekday training times when this change happens.

When training outdoors (to include running, cycling, hiking, etc.), its good a idea to remember some important tips. Here are some good strategies.

· Using common sense throughout the entirety of the training (hydration, exercise modification, etc.).
· Make sure you are visible at all times (i.e. wearing reflective gear at nighttime).
· Never train alone at night.
· Always have identification on you (by either wearing a “Road ID” or carrying your Drivers License).
· Limit distractions (Ipods, etc.)
· Don't make assumptions about drivers (if training on roads).
· Watch out for other people training (i.e. other cyclists as well as other runners).
· Carry cash or ATM card for longer outings in case of an emergency.

The following is the Boulder Sports Performance training schedule for this coming week. PLEASE make note of the following days, times and locations! All Boulder Sports Performance Members are requested to RSVP through Meetup.com as it makes it easier to have an accurate count of who's coming:

~Wednesday, Boulder Sport Performance Stair Training at 5:45PM (first 15 min. spent on a thorough warm-up),
~Saturday, TBD....stayed tuned.

Have a wonderful week from the Boulder Sports Performance Team.
